Disgruntled Employees

Dear Cannes not France,

My name is Limmie, and I am a disgruntled employee.
How did I become a disgruntled employee?    My needs were not being met, that's how!!!

I have a rather strong desire to work in a safe environment.  Meaning, I don't enjoy being manhandled by my fellow employees, I don't enjoy being beaten up by the clients and lastly, I don't like being bullied or harassed.

I've read several articles on how to deal with disgruntled employees and most articles start out with this description of an attempt to create an all-too-blissful organisation, only to have that one unhappy character be the rotten apple.
Then there are the articles that highlight the warning signs of a disgruntled employee.  The grumbling, the absences, the need for counseling.

Image result for disgruntled employee

Well,  I rarely grumbled,  I was rarely absent, I sought the council of my supervisors and was ignored.   What caused my unhappiness is exactly what was mentioned earlier.  I was being abused!

I was fired for the way I handled the belligerent jerk-off that physically manhandled me months prior to this last incident.

I was disgruntled and (for lack of better terms) went postal on the day I was fired.
The supervisor was cussed out.  I slammed the door and yelled "F--- you" loud enough to set off a few alarms.   I think the U.S Marshal was called to follow me afterward.  I went home a.s.a.p by the way.  Later that day, I noticed a large police presence in my neighborhood, I heard the choppers and I was "flashy thingy-ed" while ridding up the street.

I am not the person that sought to destroy the culture, but was the one who was at the hands of a few more overly aggressive yet popular individuals that were allowed to keep their jobs anyway...

It is always in the best interest of any company that wishes to stay in business to address the harsh work environment to avoid any amount of criminal activity.  Every so often do we hear of shootouts in the work place, or on college campuses.  When this happens, it is almost too late.

We love the loud mouths.  We adore the complainers.  They come to work on time and do a great job.  They pick on the dweeb by the water cooler and everyone loves them to no end.  They still get to keep their job.   Why?

I think that it is worth the time to introduce a no tolerance policy in the work place that highlights and enforces company regulation against bullying, harassment, espionage and complaining.    It could save the blood pressure and sanity of many.

Sincerely,

L Boyd

Food Chain Position no. 1 Saving money

Dear Readers,

Oh the suspence!! The thrill of it all! The horror!! The anticipation of...the next move!!

The pressure on my lungs and diaphragm almost bring tears to my eyes and tremors to my limbs!! If I could go to church right now, I would make a fool out of myself for Jesus!!

I will be off the street before Thanksgiving... and I still have a job!!!

Glory hallelujah!!
The furniture wish list has been created.

This story has been 3 years in the making!

Here is my money saving tips for the spoiled and slightly traumatized brat!

1. Eat light 2. Work over time 3. Don't live above your means 3. Keep the black jack 21 table on your mind

Saving money is hard but do-able.
Recycling, creatively using life hacks, and coupon clipping are clever ways to save on products.
Also speding the dime on what will last in comparison to buying  for a cheaper deal for convenient sake makes a huge difference.     For example

$10 dollar shoes from Wally World vs $88 dollar name brand shoes.

The 10 buck shoes have a shorter expiration date and they lack the minor details that will keep the body supported properly.

The 88 buck shoes may give you greater benefits that effect the whole body.

New balance is not my shoe. Nike's are. The Addidas and Brooks brands will soon be tested.
I work on my feet and I dont have a vehicle as of yet so shoes are top priority next to food and water.

Gotta stay at the top of the food chain!

Update.

Sincerely,

Limmie Boyd

Briefing: Pep Talk

Dear Readers,

If there were ever a time to do what obviously would solve my current living condition and finacial situation it would be now!!!!  Right?

The struggle is so real people!  I am surrounded by hopelessness.  This state of mental and emotional being is contageous.
Its like being surrounded by the enemy on the battle field...
The enemy called poverty
Impulse control
Sickness and disease
Depression
Fear of all kinds
The threats of danger ; violence, stalking, fraud.
Lustful vices like substance abuse ; drugs, alcohol and food. All of which can render anyone to state of hoplessness and complete defeat.

Are all surrouning me right now. However, the battle is already won so aslong as I use my weapons of prayer, goal setting and discipline, any desired result can be acheived.

This month certain goals can and will be attained. 1. Saving money. Which means that I MUST DO ALL things required to save a certain dollar amount this month.
2. Maintaining my health emotionally and physically inorder to give good performance to counteract the lack of acheivement experienced over the past 2 months.

I must do this no matter how I feel, or how much I fall.

A wise old owl shared with me a great word of wisdom once. He said "Life is like a battle feild. Just play the war right!"

I let you know how things go in a few days!

SINCERELY,

Open Hiring Events

Dear Readers,

I have .. a .. Job!!! *Hyperventilating*
Omg, where is my paper bag??!

I've been putting off the creation of a new blog entry so as not to jinx myself for fear of loosing the position. One never should speak too soon!

The journey from litterally sleeping on the street to going back into the shelter and finding gainful employment has really been an eyelash pulling experience, that I had to relearn how to relax before I have another heart attack! Whew! (My lungs almost collapsed)

How did I get the position you ask?

I applied two years ago and have been receiving emails blasts for hiring events for a year.
I finally answered.  Showed up and applied. I was hired after the interview.

Why did you not apply two years ago?

My major is of a completely different subject.  Unfortunately, employer's have the tendency of backing potential hires into a corner. Some believe that "birds of a feather should flock together"! So, if I worked as a care giver for 9 years, then I should continue to do so...

I'm against that form of population control and society building.

What is your lifes work or background?

Some of my background is in law enforcement (military) ...I am currently a security guard by the way.
The rest of my background is in Healthcare, Administration and Public Servanthood/ Emergency Preparation services.

I was hoping to go back into the Healthcare field, but it is not been an easy door to pry open. So I had to do what I had to do to get what needs to be done.

Before accepting the position with my current employer, I attended the "Back To Work" workshop program that is sponsored by  SC JOB WORKS. The states Unemployment Agency.

This type of program is another good way of making individuals marketable and employable.

I did not attend the whole four weeks because I accepted my new position, but even by showing up for the week did me a lot of good.  It was like saying yes to Jesus for the first time and life all of a sudden starts to work with me.

So far, so good.  Every week is a new gift after suffering through this traumatic event of becoming a homeless person.  Loosing everything is hard. We greive, and then we move on!

Next entry: Money Management, or maybe Promotions and how to attain them while working your way off of the street.

Sincerely,

Limmie Boyd

Bum On The Street I Am!!!

Dear Councilor,

Five days on the street and I've only been shot once -- with a lotus bomb via police cruiser drive by.  I've avoided the neighborhood street arsonists who seek the death penalty "their way" to keep the hood safe.
I've had to both warn a drunk gentleman of my arms length personal space, while on another day having to endure the rants of an angry finger waving woman.  Not to mention the drunk gentleman who decided to use my duffel bag as a pillow...  Scary stuff!

Hopefully the shelter will once again open it's doors to me. The need to find gainful employment is still number one priority and may become a little easier to find something while living indoors.

I have felt every emotion one could feel with minimal reaction, which could he a good thing.  Happy to be sleeping under the stars, scared of potential danger, and apprehensive about my future.
I suppose my greatest fear at the moment is that I would be cast-out of society and labeled as unemployable because of my current life status.  The other thing that I also fear are the entrapment artists that use indeed.com and other sites to lure people into facing arrest charges we've faced years ago, once hired to work for their company.

There are many super heroes out there!

On the same token, I am excited about the opportunity to rebuild on the life that God gave me.  I am also thankful for the concrete slab and stair case that served as protective shelter for a few nights.

Last night a local allowed myself and another homeless person to sleep in his truck.  The other night my boyfriend who gave me some booty and dumped me after wards, paid for a night in a run down motel.

He thinks he is better than me because he gets to be a squatter and no one says anything to him.

Guess that means that I am available Ladies and Gentlemen!

This is my update story and I am sticking to it!

Next week I will venture into the subject of On the job training programs.  Perhaps also, I will have made some progress in finding employment.

Unfortunately I lost my camera for those who know me, I will just for now on use the camera in my cell phone.

Sincerely,
Limmie

PS. In the pictures above shows where I spent a few night in front of a "No Loitering sign.

Hands Off/ Let God Handle it!

Dear Readers,

The shelter space has run out and I am now being forced back onto the street.
Last time this happened a wonderful lovely dove of a person told me to let God do what he needs to do in you before you get another job...   mind you, because this person is being quoted in red, that does not mean that was a word from the Lord!!

My response.. UM NOOO!!

Who is the world has time to wait on God to fix what is broken in me while I sleep on the side walk??
That is a lifetime full of work.  One day at a time.  We have things to do like getting off of the street and back into the land of the never ending light bill!

Look..this is going to be me by Monday.  He'll fix what is broke/whatever is broken in me *song*
Image result for Homeless

This is not that time to fix the attitude problem or the depression or the other gazillion imperfections that I know without a shadow of a doubt is NOT the reason why I am homeless.

The only way to handle things at this moment is to keep my mind on God.  That is all.  I ask and I am waiting to receive.

Meanwhile, I am looking for a job that will not inspire its employees to shoot me again for being one of those nasty homeless people.

Also if the police would kindly not flex at me like i'm supposed to be afraid of them.  Yes, I smuggled immigrants over the border; Yes I smuggled silverware and crashed planes while in the military ... OK I served my time paid my fines, life is quiet.  Lemme alone!

I am telling jokes and am fighting tears because i'm really am tired of being shot and electrocuted.

God is a mighty deliverer, he is mighty to save.  (repeat 20 times)

I will let you know how things go on Tuesday.

Sincerely,

Limmie

I am officially taking my hands off of things.  The battle is real and I can't win this on my own!

Dear Seekers of Life,

Do you see this picture???

This is what my life looks like as of now.  This highly muscular and violent man is backing this powerful woman against the wall... I hope she wins!!

Or perhaps the woman is egging him on and he has to show her his muscle to prove that hes not as slow as she thinks he is....I hope he wins!!

Entrapment.

I am ready to fight in the worst way right now!!!
All I can say is buyer beware!

Sincerely,

Limmie

Cruel Joke

Dear Lord!

Ha ha very funny!

This has surpassed the silliness of the 'Work From Home', unnamed company emails that claim "Verification of the online resume" and who like to "set up an interview to discuss the details of this position".  Eventually, these mystery companies want computer software purchased locally with monies from their company.  Somehow, my resume says that I am trust worthy.

Now, here we go! $170.00 an hour to ...... oh wait, the link does not work!

We will never get a chance to find out what immediate job was waiting for me at this pay rate.

Thank goodness for the Gmail's 'block' feature.

I did do some investigating last week with a company that claimed a $35.00 dollar an hour pay rate for medical and billing claims.  They wanted local purchase of computer equipment.
We tried this before and I was arrested because I couldn't prove the validity of the claim (years ago).

Vampire companies are powerful and sinister.  "They are geniuses running-a-muck"!  They have access to money, charge cards and can hack into your PC and or network of any business if they are entertained.

It's scary stuff!

Finding a job is real work and can be taxing on the emotions.  So, I will do all to keep my head up!

Sincerely,

Limmie

Meet "The Sugars"

Dear Counselor,

My head hurts from the sugar overload!  I've have this pending migraine from the brownies and soda that have somehow made its way into my daily diet.  Arthritis is attacking my body, my kidneys are working overtime.  Lord Help!

I'd like to write a brief  review of the sweets that have been consumed just this week.

1.  Fatz iced brownie--A meal in itself.  It was a pretty large dark chocolate brownie with a buttery crunchy outer layer. Good for after dinner and breakfast.

2. JP's Cream cheese brownie--A light coca colored sweet heart!  It smelled wonderful.  Very soft and sweet.  If you wish to give a secret admirer a compliment and keep your creepy edge without completely scaring them away, this is it...just walk away slowly and have an alibi!!

3. The brownie bites are commercial.  Chewy center, classic brownie perfection.  Kinda predicable.
It was a brownie.

There are also the cookies galore! The soda. The sugar migraine. The lowered kidneys and I think i'm 17 months pregnant!

The sugar keeps us at the shelter sane.  But the overload can be painful.  I feel a little high.  But the important part is that the cravings are taken care of.

I am going to find a room in the library and shut my eyes for a minute.  When I come back, my brain will be back to normal.

The mission to find work is still on the table.  I had a prospect that did not come through.. *sad face*

Sincerely,

Limmie Boyd

Pay You, Pay Me PayWEE Together...

Dear Most Gracious Readers,

If you were ever so kind as to read this blog, I sincerely thank-you.

While job searching online I came across what has been referred to as "Ye pot of gold".

These are internet sites that promise work if you subscribe to their service.  Suddenly this song came to mind "PAY YOU PAY ME   PAY US TOGETHER.....NATURALLY..." (Say you say me by Lionel Richie).

I pay them--They give job.  Pay for a job...  I feel like I'm getting ready to get on a stripper pole.

This is brilliant!!!

It can not fail!!!!

I knew that chocolate cake (discussed in yesterdays blog)  would come through for me!!
That cake reset, my whole purpose for creating this blog in the first place.

Now I AM Focused.

My brain is screaming  from the high sugar content of the funeral cookies that were served at the shelter.  My hands cramped and my lungs are heavy right now!!!

LOOK AT THIS!!!! LOOK UP THERE!      JOB!!!

I also ran into a website for writers.  They pay for online writing content.  I have to pay them first too!!!

This idea light bulb is so bright, I can't look at it!! I brain hurts so bad right now but and i'm going to use my 'crazy' to buy  myself some employment!!

I didn't take the job at the lumber yard because i'm scared! '

Ok so, on to researching ye pot of gold!

Sincerely,

Limmie Boyd

Million Dollar Cake!!!

Dear Counselor,

I just ate a cake called the "million dollar cake".  Its a cake so rich that you would want to take slice of it and rub it all over your body while bathing in a tub of Godiva brand hot chocolate with a smooth rich delicate vanilla bean creme with marshmallows.

This cake inspires me to become a rich black woman!!

This cake makes me feel loved, wanted and needed by the most sexually seductive muscle'y, wealthy, and most romantic God-fearing handsome, successful and perfect man or woman that God ever created.

This cake make me pretty and gives me value from the inside out.

This cake has healing properties.

(The picture is not of the actual cake. This is...)
This cake is just full of inspiration, ideas, creativity, blood, sweat and tears.  If I could become an architect, id build it a chapel and ask it to marry me.

Image result for million dollar chocolate cake
There is an idea and a blueprint for solving problems in that cake.  Through this cake, I will get off of the street and into my career.  Doors will open and I will find the path that will lead me to the information need to get my life back!!!

NOW....Offfff to the lumbar YYYYYAAAARRRRD!!!!

Well folks,  This is the next phase of recovery.  Slave labor...

This type of work is really all that I can find!  It's all that I am qualified to do.  It is all that I am good for.  Tagging lumber.  I've been so far an accountant, a medical professional, a police officer and a teacher.  Nothing sticks.  However,  I refuse to give up hope.  Someone will see me as an asset and will hire me.

Eating this cake also leaves me a little frustrated because it does not match my homeless environment.

It's good to treat yourself a little while life beats me down to the holes in my socks.

On another subject,  The holiday season is also a season for predators and scam artists to do what they do best. GET MONEY!  I'm not allowed to participate so i'm going to sit here and watch the people watching me.  I going to read the emails the read "Approved Resume" that claim that i am qualified to do something for their unnamed company.  I'm going to avoid the hiring events that are used for entrapment and the private investigators that refuse to acknowledge the pardon that I was given from my past.

Be safe loves!

Can I Rub Your Feet?

Dear Readers,

There is a such thing as decorum ... Right?  (Hold that thought)

I almost lost my virginity during my last interview.

That lady really pulled on me.

Ok... confession.  I believe in animal instinct.  Humans are animals, however, should we ever forgo our need for good behavior, society would destroy itself on a much violent pace.

This is how the interview went:

*She started by saying that I was qualifed.

She asks questions..
Then
By the end of the interview, that went well so I thought, I was told that I'm "very articulate" and "very kind" over and over again.  Also, ive never done anything that ive said I've done.
...and I'm so kind.

OMG what??

I went home, did some YouTube erobics, made myself laugh at my lack of coornation, then I put on my leggings like my momma would, and walk around downtown with my bird legs.

I'm sexy dammit!!

This was not really a job worth fighting for so, I move on...

I wanted to dominate her so bad...

I'm not digging the psychological warfare!!!!

I wanted to rub her feet and feed her marshmallows.

Oh yes, to finish my first thought, I behaved as a mature adult should. I think, therefore I decorumed!!

Sincerely,

Limmie Boyd

Labyrinth This I say!!!

Dear Councilor,
Image result for labyrinth

Have ye seen the length of  y'ar labyrinth?  Once it is spun, where does't ye travel?
Level ascension, mid-space suspension, or mega death....

The door was open, not sure if it is closed yet.  My last interview felt a little like a bad date.  You know the story; A highly impressive and gorgeous somebody gave a "nobody special"  a chance because they felt sorry for them.  "Nobody special" was excited about the prospect and the date that would never happen.  "Nobody Special" tripped over her own feet the whole time, even got some judgmental looks from the popular crowd.  Y'all remember how things were in high school?  The square is set up, called a dog face and dropped like a bad habit without a response to their phone call.

That was the vibe of my last interview.

I can take rejection well.  I know that some-where, there is a jock or equally as arrogant computer geek or would be doctor who may take me seriously one day.  They wont require me to put-out on the first date and leave me hanging.

Now, the labyrinth of the post education life continues.

At the end of the maze there is another dimension.  Where that dimension leads is up to the power one holds with-in.  One can progress up-ward, downward to destruction, or one can remain suspended in time and space with no clear direction.  The point also firstly however, is to survive the maze in the first place.

For other employment, I apply.

The job board scene may not be looking too hot for its main players.  It appears that the boards with a purpose are usually the ones that will strike oil.  So now we apply with a purpose.
This is what I do, now lets see if we can prove it!

Travel ON!!

Sincerely,

Limmie

I love open doors, don't you?

They look a lot like this....

Don't you hear the Angels singing?
The cows mooing? Can you smell the green pastures?

Open space and opportunity began with a YES. The deal will be sealed with a YES.
Then I'll be on my way.

Mind you, this position that I'm going for is pretty much going to be the platform in which I build...
The construction of my intended career choice may take a few years but I'm willing so long as my knees can stand it to go the extra mile to get where I'm going.

(I miss my babies) sidenote*

Hopefully the lives of the little people that came out of me will be effected for the better.
I think about them all the time and pray for them as often as I must.

I hope that they become great people.

Being homeless is hard. Life however becomes a little easier when you are able to stay in a shelter with great people, and have a pretty alright staff.

Hurray for open door!!

Sincerely,

Limmie

Who To Trust

What part of the American system allows it's people to stalk and harrass anyone presumably vulenerable?

My homeless and slightly disabled position places me as such, but it also places a kick me sign on my back for law enforcement, FBI, former employers ect the power to play the devil's advocate.

How dare I get a job, find a career and get off the street?

It sickens me how people pounce on those that dare to dream and not only dream but put in the work it takes to restore ones ability to thrive.

My beloved parents, may they rest in peace, went through the very same thing and even worse.

Some of the same characters are still following me.  Some people I can't seem to get out of my life.  I am tired of being controlled by them.

I shouldn't have to literally fight for my life against the lunatics in uniform for my piece of America just because I'm homeless.

There is too much talent on the street that are being shunned because of their unfortunate situation.
I consider this to be a form terrorism.

I can say with confidence that GOD is sending this ant into a country with giants and in this country will there be a land following with milk and honey.

I will become a giant ant if I have to.

Sincerely,

Limmie

Skipping Classes in School

Dear Readers,

There was a very important class that I omitted from my scholastic experience.  This class was considered to be some what "anti government".  When the instructor shared this important undercover information, I became agitated because what he shared what higly offensive.
Then one day I began to live the life that he spoke of.  What hurt the most was that I didn't stick around long enough for the 'how to get around this stuff" lecture and I ended up kinda screwing myself over.

I have so many questions about life and no one can give me the answers for free anymore.  So for now, I carry on through my journey and accept my circumstances humbly and when it's time to swim against the tide I become "belligerent to violence".
I am a part of the civil rights movement and I fight with an army of one.

I am educated and working to become certified. Unfortunately, I'm constantly slammed by my highly competitive colleges who for some reason seem to believe that they have room for another employee just as long as it's not me.
They keep recommending me to a telemarketing position that happens to employ majority African American, majority young and may also be either educated on the same level or of the lesser level.  I am a little tired of fighting these people. So, that only means that I must go back to school and aim higher and pray that my colleges don't react violently when they find out that I'm intelligent and a great employee.

For now, I am doing Custodial work.  I am homeless and need an income so one must do what they must do.  I'm keeping my emotion in check while drowning my sorrows in ketchup.

We shall over come someday!

Sincerely,

Limmie

Jokes on you...

Dear readers,

Life is not easy. Well for some of us life isn't easy. When you are unemployed and homeless, and without a safety net, life can become pretty tough.
The plus side to being "without" are the opportunities that afford individuals of low-income the ability to get back on their feet if they are able by way of
on-the-job training programs.

These job training programs provide grants and scholarships to those wanting to receive an education starting with adult education GED programs,  training in the medical field and in information technology.

Isn't that exciting!!!

Yes!!!

The downside to being in this position is having to face off with the jungle.... out there.... meaning having to face those wild animals that are waiting to pounce on the volunerable.

We have to become veeeery selective as to whom we share our personal information.
Anyone in any position could be collecting data for their personal use.

One of the cruelest jokes ive suffered through are those dumb emails, those fake emails that promise good sales positions, but they are really spammers fishing for information.
They are also there to steal your joy!

The last thing you want to see when you're waiting for a response from a positive job lead and you're in desperate need of employment are the fake jobs fishing for information.

Those are reported as spam!!

Take that Fisher guy!!!

That's is such a cruel joke...jokes on me ha!!
(I don't respond to those emails btw)

Sincerely,

Limmie

Finance 101

Dear Readers,

Our beloved President is a business man.  How our country will function and flow will in my opinion mimic the large business moniker.  No one knows what happens behind closed doors.

I think this time we should pay close attention to the flow of the tide and follow the leader. My mother used to say that. I didn't see what she was saying until now.
So far Warren Buffets 'Bershire Hathaway* just became the largest share holder for the Bank of America.

What does this mean for the economy?

I trust that this company knows what they are doing.  But, I also remember seeing this before and how it effected my parents finances long ago.
This type of move effected everything, like their ability to find a decent job.   I along with my parents have the experience of when an employer would make comments on how we are qualified for the job but don't have a good enough credit score.  The only job we could find would only pay a few dollars above minimum wage.  We knew that if we were able to gain better access to a higher paying job that pays a higher wage, those debts could be erradicated completely in a matter of years.  This will have a trickle effect...

I am afraid and excited.

We are in for more trying times.

If we expect to survive these next four years, we are going to have to follow God and pray for help.
I feel a squeeze coming on and trusting God will help us survive these trying, and exciting times.

So today's lesson on how to erradicate debt goes like this.

1. Give to God first.  Pay your tithes.  We are going to need the church one day. The church is going to be the world's bail out plan one day.
2. Get financial counseling if need be.  If it's not needed then...
3. Budget.
4. Make sure debt cancellation is a part of the budget.
5. Watch the President Donald Trump.
6. Watch the financial industry
7. Watch every thing, watch the news.

Debts are a form of bondage and "when you have debts you will be treated like a criminal". ~~I wish that I could brag on who gave me that warning years ago but you wouldn't believe me if I told you.

If we ever needed the Lord before we need him now.

Let me put it this way.  If we didn't mess up our credit....
If we were given opportunity to do better...
If life didn't happen, ....

We wouldn't have the debt that we have now.

It's like watching a soap opera that I required to participate in....

I'm ready to erradicate my debts are you?

( Now, if I can get a good job and get out of this homeless shelter!)

Sincerely,

Limmie

I Shall Fear No Evil

Dear Counselor,

I'm afraid of workplace violence.  It scares me that anything can happen at any given time while in our peaceful existence.  Today a gunman opened fire at a UPS facility and killed 3 employees, injured 2 and then he turned on himself after being confronted by police.  Scary right?

Being a person that is in desperate need as I am homeless and living in a shelter and having dreams of landing a job and saving money and then getting off of the street and becoming a functional part of society.....the last thing that I need to know is that some angry and deeply hurt individual has decided to take matters into their own hands  shooting up the place because they are mad and had to make a "statement" then he kills himself...
I mean no....that is scary!!!

Now I have to go hide for a few days and do some more research and pray that I don't end up in the belly of the whale.
We never know why people do what they do.  He could have been a terrorist sending warning to someone that wants to work for another major corporation..the message could be.... YOU'RE NEXT!!!
What if that's me?
I've already had to not go to an interview because one of the locals is watching me too closely.

I don't mean to make this about me but honestly, I'm no stranger to workplace violence.  It's scary and unnerving to live in as a stranger in a strange land and to have to do battle that way.

My heart is broken for the victims and the families effected by this violent act.

I actually lost a friend years ago that same way.  He was shot, right on the job during another angry person's rampage.

My question is...what could have been done to prevent something like this from happening in the first place?

It had not been revealed as of yet if this was an employee so there's not a whole lot could be said.  However, there are a lot of questions.

I will leave the investigating to the professionals.

I'm scared.  Life is hard.  I shall dear no evil for God is with me...us

Maybe I should go get a job in a padded room with no people and no weapons and all personnel are required to be nice.

Prayers for those effected...

Canned

Dear Sir/Madame:

Today I was canned..
I was canned...before training.
Training was to happen 2 weeks after hire.
I was thrown a bone and told to heal. I could not deal.
I have no idea what they wanted or needed.
Don't you hate starting a new relationship with someone and they don't know what they want out of life but they have way too many expectations for you. The the main requirements is that you do what you're told not just verbally but also by esp. You are supposed to be a mind reader. You're supposed to know how to do everything but at the same time know nothing. Then you push to get info from them and your told to back off... Right after youre told to first give them the booty?
Well, that was my last employer.
I have no idea what they wanted from me. The job description was clear but I'm not sure that's what they wanted.
So now, I must move on.

Well..if I may.
Dear employers please don't hire people if you're not ready to take a new employee in. If things aren't in place it is ok to say so. If you want your new hire...please don't treat people like they need you more than you need them. We can reciprocate the same. Employers you need us too.... let's be friends?

Well!

Back in the saddle!

Sincerely,
